Let us explain: Residential projects developed with financial support from City of Dallas Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District funds are required to provide affordable units (affordable to households earning up to 80% of the Area Median Family Income (AMFI) for the Dallas Metro Area as determined by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD)). Rents are capped at 30% of 80% AMFI. All residential developments utilizing TIF District funds are privately owned and managed.
